Caring for your Lit piece

Welcome — you're officially a lit stone enthusiast. A little secret: stones don't glow on their own. Yours is powered by a tiny battery, so a few simple habits will keep it shining for years to come.

Keep it dry

Water, rain, and liquids will dim the magic. Your piece is not waterproof — remove it before showering, swimming, washing up, or dancing in the rain, and wipe it gently if it gets splashed.

Handle with care

It's jewelry with a heart of electronics. Natural stone can chip and the tiny LED components are delicate, so avoid drops, knocks, and pressure. Put your piece on last when getting ready and take it off first.

Store it smart

Keep your piece somewhere cool, dry, and padded — a pouch or lined box away from other jewelry that could scratch it. Avoid leaving it in direct sun, a hot car, or anywhere humid, all of which are hard on both stone and battery.

Keep it glowing

Turn the light off when you're not wearing it to make the battery last. To clean, switch it off and wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth — no water, sprays, or harsh cleaners. When the glow fades, the battery can be replaced; reach out and we'll walk you through your specific piece.

Important: button battery safety

Each piece contains a small button battery. Keep it away from children and pets — batteries are harmful or potentially fatal if swallowed. If a battery is ingested, seek medical attention immediately. This is jewelry, not a toy, and should never be given to small children to handle or wear unsupervised.
